The Lost and the Furious

Big Yellow Nasty celebrity news wire

ABC's Lost may very well be the best show on television today, and the new season's been solid. But some critics are saying that the newest cast additions, a group of survivors from the tail of the plane who wound up on the other side of the island and were systematically picked off by the "Others" until they were all bitter and paranoid, are bringing the show down.

Arizona Republic TV critic Bill Goodykoontz, says he doesn't want any more backstory on Ana-Lucia, played by Michelle Rodriguez, better known as Vin Diesel's girlfriend from The Fast and the Furious.

Here's some funny news if you don't like the Lost star: she and who-cares costar Cynthia Watros were arrested in Hawaii for allegedly driving under the influence. According to Hawaii state law, drinking and driving is a violation of the 'aloha spirit.' Where better to read the story than ABC News?

When asked to comment on the situation, Rodriguez said, "I smell ... skanks. Why don't you girls just pack it up before I leave tread marks on your face?"

Okay, that was actually from her character, Letty, in The Fast and the Furious.

Does this incident mean we'll get to see more Emilie de Ravin and Dominic Monaghan on Lost? We can only hope. As it stands, it has yet to be determined if a conviction would jeopardize Rodriguez's status as No. 10 sexiest woman in HDTV. BYN speculates she'll get bumped for Evangeline Lilly.

In the meantime, here's a better Fast and the Furious quote to hold you over:
You almost had me? You never had me - you never had your car... Granny shiftin' not double clutchin' like you should. You're lucky that hundred shot of NOS didn't blow the welds on the intake!
